DevaCurl® is committed to being an antiracist organization. Our goal is to be an accomplice for all people with curly and natural hair – no matter their ethnicity, gender, age, ability, or religion – by providing equitable access to high-quality curl-curated products, professional support, and expert-led education to help eradicate racism in the hair industry.
DevaCurl® is committed to being kind to the environment, by integrating more recycled materials into new packaging. The majority of our new bottles are made from 50% recycled ocean-bound plastic to reduce our eco-footprint. In addition, we have some bottles made from 50% as well as 35% recycled plastic. All tubes are made from 30% recycled post-consumer resin (PCR). All of our bottles, tubes and aluminum cans are recyclable. We will continue to explore opportunities to reduce the negative environmental impact of our packaging.
At DevaCurl we recognize that important change is needed within professional beauty education to ensure hairstylists receive inclusive education to better support and serve ALL hair types. Together with the Professional Beauty Association and other professional industry leaders we created the Texture Education Collective™ to advocate for much needed change.
