As a former cosmetologist I cut and color my own hair and I have for over 30 years. I just don't trust anyone. I normally wear my hair very long but I decided to try something short. I could only cut it so short myself and I needed help. I had been researching stylists and had Jenna's name bookmarked for about six months. I bit the bullet and went in. I was really pleased to find that she did everything just as I would have done if it were me cutting my hair. The end result was exactly what I had asked for. I woke up today and I literally don't have to do a blessed thing to my hair today, even if I were going to a special occasion I woke up with great hair that's ready to go! I will definitely return the next time I need help, or even just a little pampering.

I booked an appointment with Jenna to do a devacut and olaplex treatment. My hair was super long and I definitely needed a cut given its been a while since I had one. She cut, washed, styled as normal. I went home and washed my hair a few days later and noticed that some of my curls didn't get cut at all, one side of my head goes in a V, the other side was cut straight across. I messaged her about fixing it and she said she would check her books. I messaged her again to see if she did and what day she could fix it. She never messaged me back. I would suggest finding someone that has a higher level of devacut training and don't just go off of a few good reviews. You can be the best hairstylist in the world but if your buisness ethics and professionalism is lacking when there is a problem with a cut that you did and not willing to work with a client to fix it, there's a problem. That's not how you keep a client.
