I had never had my hair cut this way before, and it was amazing the difference it made! I have thin/fine hair, but also waves and have always dealt with a lot of frizz. Erika not only cut my hair well but also gave me great tips and advice for styling as we went through the process. It really was amazing to me how much MORE my hair curled up just by having this type of cut! And I've never had my hair look so good (NOT frizzy or oily!) even 2 days after a wash! In addition to the hair cut, the service overall was great. I went in on a quiet weekday morning and they were very welcoming of me bringing my son. He played with his race cars and ate a snack while I was getting my cut, and came and sat on my lap towards the end while she was styling my hair, no problems. That made it so much easier to be able to get myself there for an appointment.

I got my first devacut and I am so happy with it! I have 2b curls and had hair down to my hips when wet, so I decided to get a shorter haircut. I showed Erika some pictures and described the cut I wanted, and she seemed to understand just what I needed. I decided to donate my hair, which I'm glad I could do in addition to the devacut. My curls are more defined than they've ever been, and I love the change!

I just got my first devacut with Erika and I'm never going back to the old way again! I've had a number of haircuts throughout Pittsburgh since I moved out here, but none of them I left feeling really good about my haircut or my relationship with the stylist. Erika listened to me, and gave me a great cut! I have hair down to my mid back and it's dense, so I'm really picky. After the initial cut I wasn't sure about it (I usually like more movement around my face), but after we washed and diffused it we decided to cut more into the front. Erika knew exactly what I meant and with each cut and see more movement and more curl opening up. Hands down the best haircut that I've had that really accentuated my curls instead of hiding them.
