Casey really listened to what I wanted and gave me a cut that will work curly and straight if I want it to. She even dried it straight for me to check it worked that way. All for a very reasonable price. She was recommended to me by a friend who goes to her all the time and I am very happy!

I just submitted this post without a name, I figured out it was Casey. I put it in my Calendar on my phone... I saw her Oct 18th. Welp, I’m back on this website to try and find a different location to get my Devacut. I felt as if Casey cut my hair shorter than I’d like... which was not too much of a big deal. What was upsetting to me is that she allowed me to walk out with soaking wet hair. I was not even able to see my results until hours later. I did tell her I do not use heat on my hair in fears of damage. I feel as if she should have diffused my hair at least and did any adjustments from there. This was my first experience and only experience with receiving a Devacut so I wasn’t too sure if that was the correct method. I also did not know too much about “diffusing”.... HOWEVER, her being the “expert” you would think she would. I always allowed my hair to air dry because I didn’t know what diffusing was and that it was a method to dry curly hair. That was until I received insight from others, and when I read the curly girl handbook. This time I will ask questions about the experience my stylist has with curly hair. I should have paid extra for a better stylist (I paid $77 plus tip), however I will not be coming back to this location. My search begins again.... I really hope I can find someone who I can come to for every cut.
