After moving to Ohio from another state, I put off finding a new stylist for quite some time, but decided to give Brittany J a try. When I called to schedule my appointment, the receptionist didn't ask if I'd had a DevaCut before, nor did she give any instruction to me other than to confirm the date/time of my appointment. I've had several DevaCuts before, so I already knew to come in with my hair in its natural state. During my cut, Brittany combed through my hair and stretched it out tightly as she cut each section -- a definite DevaCut no-no. She also opened up the back of the cape for most of the haircut, which left hair in my shirt and back, and made for an itchy ride home. The cut was a decent one, but there wasn't much layering up front, so my waves didn't have the body it normally has. She was friendly, and styled it nicely, but it was definitely not a DevaCut, and not worth the higher price tag. :(
