Went for my very first Devacut today. Started my natural hair journey about 4 months ago but was afraid and anxious to get the cut! Found the Hair Parlour on here and made an appointment with Amy!! And wow am I impressed!! My hair looks so healthy and has so much volume as well as definition!! This will be my go to spot from now on...and Amy is the sweetest!!

I have struggled with my curly hair my whole life. I have tried endless stylists who have swore they were curly hair experts. I always ended up disappointed. While on vacation in Oceanside, I read an article about The Hair Parlour and how they "specialize" in curly hair with the DevaCut process. It piqued my interest. I made an appointment and thought about cancelling several times. I kept my appointment and was nervous. I met with Amy and she was really welcoming. I didn't know what I wanted but I knew I needed a change. When she started cutting I really became nervous because of how much she was cutting. I thought to myself, this is going to be really short. Needless to say, the end result was fabulous! I have even been able to re-create the look at home, unbelievable! Now I have to find someone locally in Phoenix to continue this lovely hair. I am finally embracing my curls at 46!
