Angela was very sweet and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable the whole time. She explained everything she was doing, products that would work for my type of curls, and took her time. I am thankful for such a wonderful experience. My hair is the curliest it has ever been in year. I am so happy I stumbled upon her.

I do not recommend this salon for those who have a very specific idea in mind of what they want. I had been cutting my own curls for about a year before seeing Angela, and I wanted to invest in a professional cut. It was very expensive in my opinion, I $120 for a cut. And Angela talks with her hands and talks a lot, so she was constantly waving the scissors around and cutting very fast, almost as an afterthought to the conversation. I did not like that, I wanted someone who would be very focused on my curls and be intentional and focused oncreating a beautiful shape. I did not like the shape I left with and after wearing it about a week, I went back for a touch up and she graciously did the touch up at no extra charge, but I still was not very happy with the results. She's a very sweet woman and I think if you're new to embracing your curls, she may be able to help you. But the end result for me was curls that felt weighed down and heavy at the ends, lots of time spent for having two appointments, and quite expensive for what the end result was. I believe I do a better job than she did on my curls.
